Will Clarke is Elliott Davis Advisory’s State and Local Tax practice leader. Will has more than 10 years of public accounting experience, serving clients in the manufacturing, distribution, private equity, retail, technology and service industries. He specializes in state and local taxes, including sales and use tax advisory, multistate corporate income and franchise tax planning, compliance and refund reviews, audit defense, nexus studies, voluntary disclosures, and credits and incentives.

Will has extensive experience identifying, substantiating and calculating state tax credits in the southeastern United States and enjoys helping clients obtain valuable refunds from missed tax credit opportunities.

Prior to joining Elliott Davis, Will was a senior associate in the Federal Tax practice at an international accounting firm. He also spent two years in project accounting with a national construction engineering firm at a large nuclear development project in South Carolina.  

Will is an active member of SCEDA and serves on SCEDA’s legislative committee.
