Gary R. Gerlach

Professional Overview

Gary has more than 25 years of valuation experience working with closely held businesses, limited liability companies, and partnerships for estate and estate planning purposes, ESOPs, buy/sell agreements, dissenting shareholder disputes, and family law disputes. Gary has valued hundreds of companies across a wide range of industries, ranging in revenue size from less than $1 million to nearly $1 billion. He has testified as an expert witness for both business valuation and income tax issues in North Carolina and has appeared before the IRS on business valuation matters.        

Prior to joining Elliott Davis, Gary was a Valuation Analyst with a boutique valuation firm in Charlotte. Gary also has investigatory experience as a FBI Special Agent in the Washington, D.C. area.
