Matt has more than 25 years of finance, accounting, and operating experience with start-up and growing companies in diverse industries. He has extensive experience working with venture capital and private equity groups in M&A activity and raising capital. Matt has a proven track record implementing strategy and processes to affect growth. He ramps up quickly as a valuable member of executive management teams to assist organizations in accounting, systems, and financial reporting in an outsourced or interim capacity. Prior to joining Elliott Davis, Matt was the CFO of a private equity-owned software company where he implemented all the accounting, HR, and treasury functions, assisted in developing the sales and marketing strategy, and managed the due diligence process in the successful sale of the company. Having been part of several start-up companies, Matt brings customers valuable insight based on his industry experience.
