Brent has nearly a decade of combined public accounting and industry experience and provides community banking customers in both public and private sectors with a wide range of assurance services, including financial statement audits, internal audits (Sarbanes-Oxley 404 and FDICIA), and other agreed upon procedures. Prior to joining Elliott Davis, Brent spent the majority of his career at Deloitte and Touche, serving multiple industries. He subsequently spent two years at a $3 billion SEC bank where he was responsible for financial reporting (10Q’s and 10K’s), addressing technical accounting matters, and FDICIA compliance. Brent most recently performed financial statement audits and compilations at a national firm for banks across the Midwest.
