Bobbi Jo Lazarus Honored as One of Charlotte’s Forty Under 40 Award Winners

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (February 29, 2016) – Elliott Davis Decosimo is pleased to announce that Bobbi Jo Lazarus was named as one of Charlotte Business Journal’s Forty Under 40 award winners. The award recognizes 40 of the region’s most accomplished business and civic minded professionals under 40 years of age.

Bobbi Jo is currently a senior manager in the firm’s Real Estate Practice. With more than 10 years of experience in public accounting, she is passionate about helping create success for her clients, her teammates and the firm. Bobbi Jo is an active leader inside and outside of the firm. She developed and launched an internal, firmwide leadership initiative to help young team members within the Real Estate Practice reach their professional goals. In 2014, Bobbi Jo became the youngest team member ever to be elected to the CREW Charlotte presidency. Within that same year, she was named one of the Women to Watch by the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants.

In addition to her contributions to the firm, Bobbi Jo believes in giving back to her community. As a former firefighter, Bobbi Jo appreciates and understands what it means to be part of a fire department family. She is a founding committee member of the Charlotte Fire Department Auxiliary and is actively involved and volunteers with the Carolina Brotherhood Ride, an annual cycling event made up of firefighters and police officers from the Carolinas.
