Jim Bourey to Join Elliott Davis

GREENVILLE, S.C., June 21, 2010 – Elliott Davis LLC, one of the largest accounting, tax and consulting services firms in the Southeast, announced today that Greenville City Manager Jim Bourey will be joining the firm as Director of Corporate Development.

At a press conference this morning at Elliott Davis’ headquarters in Greenville, S.C., Firm Managing Shareholder Rick Davis welcomed Bourey, noting his record of achievement, exceptional qualifications and future role in helping to advance the firm’s key objectives.

“We feel the experience Bourey brings as a leader in the public and private sector provides an opportunity for Elliott Davis to implement several strategic growth initiatives,” said Davis.

He added that Bourey will remain in Greenville and is expected to play a firmwide role throughout the Southeastern footprint of the firm.

As city manager, Bourey’s vision inspired many downtown projects such as Fluor Field, Riverplace and the rejuvenation of Falls Park.

“After serving Greenville for the past six and a half years, I am eagerly anticipating beginning a new venture with Elliott Davis,” remarked Bourey. “I have seen the results that come from established relationships and I am excited to continue that in my new role as Director of Corporate Development.”

Bourey will begin work at Elliott Davis on July 19.
