Four Members of Elliott Davis’ Construction Practice Earn CCIFP®
GREENVILLE, S.C., Jan. 24, 2012 – Elliott Davis, LLC, one of the largest accounting, tax and consulting services firms in the Southeast, is pleased to announce that four of its professionals have earned the designation of Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional (CCIFP®).
The Institute of Certified Construction Industry Financial Professionals (ICCIFP) is a national organization dedicated to promoting excellence and best practices in construction financial management. Only 14 professionals in South Carolina and 27 professionals in North Carolina are CCIFP® credentialed.
Travis R. Bogan, a certified public accountant, is located in the firm’s Greenville, S.C. office. With more than 16 years of experience, Bogan is a member of Elliott Davis’ Construction Practice, providing tax planning and compliance services to construction contractors in the industry including: general, electrical, mechanical, grading, homebuilding, as well as other niche contractors.
Todd Soderlund, a certified public accountant, is located in the firm’s Columbia, S.C. office. With more than 17 years of experience, Soderlund is a member of Elliott Davis’ Construction Practice, providing comprehensive assurance and advisory services to general and specialty contractors as well as engineering firms in the Carolinas. His clients range from start-ups to large firms with operations and locations in multiple states.
David Turner, a certified public accountant, is located in the firm’s Charlotte, N.C. office. With more than 10 years of experience, Turner is a member of Elliott Davis’ Construction Practice and serves a variety of clients within the industry from general contractors to electrical, mechanical, grading, and other specialty subcontractors. Serving clients in both N.C. and S.C., he provides audit, review, and compilation services as well as a variety of management advisory services.
Jim White, a certified public accountant, is located in the firm’s Greenville, S.C. office. With more than 10 years experience, White provides advisory and tax services to clients in the construction industry in N.C. and S.C. He has served a wide-range of contractors in the industry including: general, electrical, mechanical, heavy highway, grading, homebuilding, as well as other niche contractors.
ICCIFP provides certification holders with opportunities for continuing education to help them maintain their knowledge and certification. ICCIFP is an independent, separately incorporated entity affiliated with the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA).
The CCIFP designation is endorsed by industry-leading organizations such as the American Subcontractors Association, Construction Industry CPAs/Consultants Association, National Association of Surety Bond Producers, among others.
