Elliott Davis Senior Manager Named Among “Best & Brightest 35 and Under”

GREENVILLE, S.C., Sept. 2, 2011 – Elliott Davis, LLC, one of the largest accounting, tax and consulting services firms in the Southeast, is pleased to announce that Jeff Walker has been named among the “Best & Brightest 35 and Under” by Greenville First and Greenville Business Magazine.

The “Best & Brightest” awards honor local, young professionals who have been identified by the community through a nomination process as Greenville County’s future leaders.

A certified public accountant and senior assurance manager in the firm’s Greenville, S.C. office, Walker will be recognized on September 27 at an awards ceremony held at Greenville Little Theatre. Additionally, he is featured in the September issue of Greenville Business Magazine.

At Elliott Davis, Walker is a key team member on the audits of significant firm clients including SEC registrants. He also helps lead the firm’s internship program and serves on its training and development committee.

In the community, Walker serves as president of the advisory board for Specialized Alternatives for Families and Youth (SAFY). He also is a member of Professionals United for Leadership and Social Environment (PULSE), the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA), the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the South Carolina Association of CPAs (SCACPA).

Walker earned his Master of Accountancy from the University of Georgia and his B.S. in Accounting from Furman University.
