Elliott Davis Senior Manager Earns CFP®
CHARLOTTE, N.C., Oct. 1, 2010 – Elliott Davis, PLLC, one of the largest accounting, tax and consulting services firms in the Southeast, is pleased to announce that Susan Harris, a senior tax manager in its Charlotte office, has earned the credential of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®).
To earn her CFP®, Harris had to meet the rigorous experience and ethical requirements of the CFP Board; successfully complete financial planning coursework; and pass the CFP® Certification Examination. Among the areas she studied are the financial planning process, risk management, investments, tax planning and management, retirement and employee benefits, and estate planning.
A certified public accountant with more than 10 years of experience, Harris is a member of Elliott Davis’ Dental Services practice, providing dentists with tax planning and financial management solutions.
“Each day, I focus on helping dentists achieve their financial objectives,” said Harris. “I pursued my CFP® certification in order to provide the best possible solutions to them and their practices.”
Harris is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants. She serves on the board of directors for the North Carolina Wildlife Federation.
