Elliott Davis Named Among “2009 Best Places to Work in South Carolina”
GREENVILLE, S.C., Oct. 9, 2009 – Elliott Davis, LLC, one of the largest accounting, tax and consulting services firms in the Southeast, is proud to be named among the “2009 Best Places to Work in South Carolina.”
The firm ranked second in the large company (250 employees or more) category, up from fourth last year and fifth in 2007. All winners were recognized at the 4th annual awards banquet held last night at the Marriott in Columbia, S.C.
The multiyear initiative is aimed at identifying and recognizing the state’s most innovative and top-notch employers. The program involves a partnership among the S.C. Chamber of Commerce, S.C. Society for Human Resource Management and SC BIZ.
Entrants are assessed through a two-part process which includes an employer benefits and policies questionnaire, as well as an employee engagement and satisfaction survey.
“We are a workplace of choice because of our great employees,” said Bob Wilson, Chief Human Resources Officer for Elliott Davis. “Our outstanding work environment stems from our employees’ deep sense of pride and satisfaction that drives them to do their best every day. In turn, our clients benefit greatly from effective, efficient service from a team who enjoys what they do.”
Programs from which Elliott Davis employees currently benefit include one-on-one coaching, internal and external development opportunities, competitive compensation, flexible schedule options, referral rewards, and a Women in Leadership program.
