Elliott Davis Manager Named Among “Best & Brightest 35 and Under”
GREENVILLE, S.C., Sept. 30, 2009 – Elliott Davis, LLC, one of the largest accounting, tax and consulting services firms in the Southeast, is pleased to announce that Matthew Madden has been named among “Greenville First’s Best & Brightest 35 and Under.”
A certified public accountant and tax manager in the firm’s Greenville, S.C. office, Madden was recognized last night at an event held at the BMW Performance Center.
The “Best & Brightest” awards were established by Greenville Magazine in 1994 – each year honoring 25 men and women under the age of 35 as growing leaders in Greenville. Selection is based on business success and volunteer efforts in the community.
Madden is currently serving a three-year term on the board of directors for Professionals United for Leadership and Social Enrichment (PULSE). This year, he co-chaired a PULSE mentoring program designed to give Greenville young professionals the opportunity to learn from seasoned business and community leaders. He is also involved with the History Makers of the Upcountry History Museum.
At Elliott Davis, Madden serves on the United Way fundraising committee and plays a key role in the recruiting, training and development of new team members. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the South Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants (SCACPA) and the Urban Land Institute (ULI).
