Elliott Davis, LLC Admits New Shareholders

GREENVILLE, S.C., Oct. 5, 2010 – The shareholders of Elliott Davis, LLC one of the largest accounting, tax and consulting services firms in the Southeast, are pleased to announce they have admitted three new shareholders: Kay Biscopink, Frances Patterson and Philip Cardwell.

Kay Biscopink, a certified public accountant, is located in the firm’s Greenville, S.C. office. With more than 20 years of public and private accounting experience, she chairs Elliott Davis’ International Tax practice. Kay is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the South Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants. She earned her B.S. in Accounting from University of Central Oklahoma and also holds a M.S. in Microbiology from the University of Louisville.

Frances Patterson, a certified public accountant, is located in the firm’s Greenville, S.C. office. With more than 20 years of public accounting experience, she chairs Elliott Davis’ Personal Financial Services practice. Patterson is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the South Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants. She earned her B.A. in Business Administration from Duke University.

Philip Cardwell, a certified public accountant, is located in the firm’s Galax, V.A. office. With more than 18 years of experience in public accounting, he focuses on providing assurance services to financial institutions. Cardwell is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants. He earned his B.S. in Business Administration from Radford University.
