Elliott Davis Expands in CSRA, Adds Shareholder
AUGUSTA, G.A., Aug. 22, 2011 – The shareholders of Elliott Davis, LLC, one of the largest accounting, tax and consulting services firms in the Southeast, are pleased to announce they have admitted Deron Stancil as shareholder, located in the firm’s Augusta, G.A. office.
A certified public accountant, Stancil has been a member of Elliott Davis’ tax practice for more than 17 years, serving closely-held businesses, high net-worth individuals and not-for-profit clients from the firm’s Greenville, S.C. office. He recently relocated to Augusta to serve clients in the Central Savannah River Area (CSRA).
“With a depth of tax planning and compliance experience, Deron is accomplished in the areas of trust, gift and estate taxation, as well as not-for-profit tax engagements,” said Bill Woodward, managing shareholder for Elliott Davis’ Augusta office. “His technical expertise and leadership will be tremendous assets both internally and externally.”

Stancil is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants and South Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants. He also is a member of the Augusta Estate Planning Council for 2011-12. Deron earned his Master of Accountancy and B.B.A. in Accounting from the University of Georgia.
