Elliott Davis Admits New Shareholders

GREENVILLE, S.C., Sept. 1, 2011 – The shareholders of Elliott Davis, LLC, one of the largest accounting, tax and consulting services firms in the Southeast, are pleased to announce they have admitted seven new shareholders, bringing the total number of firm shareholders to 56.

J. Ira Bedenbaugh is located in the firm’s Greenville, S.C. office. With more than 15 years of experience in the healthcare field, he chairs Elliott Davis’ Medical Consulting practice, assisting physician practices and hospitals with their strategic initiatives, daily financial management and operational needs. Bedenbaugh earned his M.B.A. and his B.S. in Financial Management from Clemson University.

Scott A. Henderson, a certified public accountant, is located in the firm’s Charlotte, N.C. office. With more than 20 years of public accounting experience, he co-chairs Elliott Davis’ Transaction Services practice. Henderson is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He earned his Bachelor of Economics from Macquarie University.

Richard F. Hewitt, Jr., a certified public accountant, is located in the firm’s Columbia, S.C. office. With more than 18 years of accounting and consulting experience, he co-chairs Elliott Davis’ Transaction Services practice. Hewitt is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and South Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants. He earned his J.D. and Master of International Business Studies from the University of South Carolina and his B.A. in Accounting from Furman University.

Eric Levy, a certified public accountant and personal financial specialist, is located in the firm’s Charleston, S.C. office. With more than 14 years of accounting and financial management experience, he focuses on providing income and estate tax services to closely-held businesses and individuals. Levy is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and South Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants. He earned his Master of Professional Accountancy and B.S. in Accounting from Clemson University.

James M. Manley, Jr., a certified public accountant, is located in the firm’s Greenwood, S.C. office. With more than 17 years of public accounting experience, he provides assurance, accounting and tax services to clients across a wide-range of industries including closely-held businesses. Manley is a member of American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and South Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants. He earned his Master of Professional Accountancy from Clemson University and B.S. in Accounting from Lander University.

Terri G. McNaughton, a certified public accountant, is located in the firm’s Greenville, S.C. office. With more than 15 years of public accounting experience, she chairs Elliott Davis’ Employee Benefit Plan practice. McNaughton is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, South Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants, Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants and New Brunswick Institute of Chartered Accountants. She earned her Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from Mount Allison University.

Eric D. Pitts, a certified public accountant, is located in the firm’s Greenville, S.C. office. With more than 14 years of accounting experience, he provides assurance and transaction services to clients across a wide-range of industries. Pitts is a member of American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and South Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants. He earned his B.A. Accounting from Clemson University.
