GREENVILLE, S.C., Sept. 19, 2012 – Elliott Davis, LLC, one of the largest accounting, tax and consulting services firms in the Southeast, is pleased to announce that Drew Rogers has been named among the “Best & Brightest 35 and Under” by Greenville First Bank and Greenville Business Magazine.
The “Best & Brightest” awards honor local, young professionals who have been identified by the community through a nomination process as Greenville County’s future leaders.
A certified public accountant and personal financial specialist, Rogers is a senior tax manager in the firm’s Greenville, S.C. office. He was recognized on September 18 at an awards ceremony held at the Greenville Little Theatre. Additionally, he is featured in the September issue of Greenville Business Magazine.
At Elliott Davis, Rogers focuses on income tax planning for high net worth individuals, estate planning, and taxation of investment partnerships, trusts, estates and closely held businesses. He also chairs the firm’s United Way campaign and is highly involved in recruiting efforts.
In the community, Rogers serves as board member and treasurer for the Ronald McDonald House’s Red Shoe Society and serves on the Youth Programs Evaluation Team for the United Way of Greenville County. In addition, he is a member of various organizations including the Greenville Estate Planning Council, Downtown Symphony Club, United Way’s Palmetto Society and Young Philanthropists and Professionals United for Leadership and Social Environment, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the South Carolina Association of CPAs.
Rogers earned his Master of Professional Accountancy and his B.S. in Financial Management from Clemson University.
