Raleigh, NC | June 12, 2014 – Elliott Davis is pleased to announce that David Stewart, a manager in the firm’s Raleigh office, was named as one of the Triangle Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 Leadership Award winners. The awards recognize outstanding professionals under the age of 40 for their contributions to their organizations and to the community.
Stewart provides business valuation and litigation support consulting solutions to clients in numerous industries. He demonstrates leadership within the firm on a daily basis. Stewart mentors colleagues, is actively involved with recruitment efforts and serves on committees that shape office culture.
“In addition to his outstanding efforts within our organization, David also contributes to the profession outside of our firm,” said John Strickland, Business Valuation shareholder at Elliott Davis. “He presents to groups such as the Family Law Section of the North Carolina Bar Association about business valuation basics, where more than 100 attorneys from across the state were in attendance.”
Stewart is dedicated to improving his community. He is an active member of Raleigh Chamber’s Young Professional’s Network and has served on the Advisory Board for the last two years, both as a member of the Steering Committee and as Recruitment Committee Chair. David also serves on the board of the American Diabetes Association of Eastern North Carolina, helping re-shape the community leadership board and working as the Team Recruitment Chair for the American Diabetes Association StepOut walk in Raleigh. He also serves on the board for Motheread and was one of just 50 participants selected for the Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce’s leadership development program.
