Elliott Davis Adds Principal to Transaction Services Practice

CHARLOTTE, N.C., October 27, 2009 – Elliott Davis, PLLC, one of the largest accounting, tax and consulting services firms in the Southeast, announces the addition of Scott Henderson as principal to the firm’s Charlotte, N.C. office.

A certified public accountant, Henderson brings more than 20 years of experience to his new role in the consulting practice at Elliott Davis. He will assist the firm’s clients with a number of transaction advisory services including merger and acquisition due diligence and lender due diligence as well as financial and accounting management advisory services.

Prior to joining Elliott Davis in October 2009, Henderson served as partner-in-charge of KPMG, LLP’s Charlotte, N.C. transaction services practice.

He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG).

Henderson earned a bachelor’s degree of accounting and economics from Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia.

Elliott Davis Adds to Tax Team in Greenville

GREENVILLE, S.C., Oct. 14, 2009 – Elliott Davis, LLC, one of the largest accounting, tax and consulting services firms in the Southeast, announces the addition of Katie Rollings as senior manager in the firm’s Greenville, S.C. office.

A certified public accountant, Rollings brings more than nine years of public accounting experience to her new role at Elliott Davis where she will focus on providing tax services to high net-worth individuals and families, as well as closely-held businesses and pass-through entities. She formerly worked for a Big Four accounting firm.

Rollings is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants (NCACPA), and the South Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants (SCACPA).

She earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a master’s degree in accounting from James Madison University.

Elliott Davis to Hold Community Banking Forums in Columbia and Greensboro

Elliott Davis, LLC, one of the largest accounting, tax and consulting services firms in the Southeast, is pleased to announce that it will hold its 2009 Community Banking Forum in two locations this year – Columbia, S.C. and Greensboro, N.C.

The first event will be held on November 16th at the Hilton Columbia Center. The next event will be held on December 2nd at the Greensboro Marriott Downtown. This year’s forums are focused on the upheaval in the economy, specifically in the financial services sector. Topics will include: troubled assets, accounting and auditing, capital markets, tax, financial reporting, the regulatory environment, and issues facing CFOs of community banks. Elliott Davis Named Among “2009 Best Places to Work in South Carolina”

GREENVILLE, S.C., Oct. 9, 2009 – Elliott Davis, LLC, one of the largest accounting, tax and consulting services firms in the Southeast, is proud to be named among the “2009 Best Places to Work in South Carolina.”

The firm ranked second in the large company (250 employees or more) category, up from fourth last year and fifth in 2007. All winners were recognized at the 4th annual awards banquet held last night at the Marriott in Columbia, S.C.
