Elliott Davis, LLC Promotes Biscopink To Principal
GREENVILLE, S.C., Jan. 30, 2009 – Elliott Davis, LLC, one of the largest accounting, tax and consulting services firms in the Southeast, has promoted Kay Biscopink to principal of the firm. Located in the firm’s Greenville, S.C. office, Biscopink is a licensed CPA in South Carolina and Oklahoma with more than 20 years of experience. In her new position, she will continue to lead Elliott Davis’ international tax practice, offering tax knowledge and resources on inbound and outbound tax issues to multinational clients.

Prior to joining Elliott Davis in 2008 as senior tax manager for international tax services, Biscopink was employed as a tax specialist for Arthur Andersen LLP in Oklahoma City where she focused on providing international tax planning and compliance services.
Biscopink earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Central Oklahoma, a bachelor’s degree in science from the University of Kentucky, and a master’s degree in science from the University of Louisville. She is a member of the South Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She also serves as a member of the Greater Anderson Musical Arts Consortium (GAMAC) Guild, the Anderson County Medical Society Alliance, and the Kiwanis International of Anderson. Biscopink is past president of the St. Joseph Catholic School Board in Anderson, S.C.

Allison Leslie Bowman Joins Firmwide Marketing Team
CHARLOTTE, N.C., Jan. 28, 2009 – Elliott Davis, PLLC, one of the largest accounting, tax and consulting services firms in the Southeast, announces the addition of Allison Leslie Bowman as firmwide communications manager. Located in the Charlotte, N.C. office, she will report directly to Denise Reis, chief marketing officer of the firm.
As communications manager, Bowman will lead Elliott Davis’ internal and external communications initiatives, including the intranet and website, employee communications, collateral development, public relations and advertising across the firm’s 10 offices in South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia and Virginia.
Bowman has more than nine years of marketing, public relations and client management experience, including her most recent role marketing professional services worldwide.
Prior to joining Elliott Davis in January 2009, Bowman served as public relations and communications specialist for K&L Gates LLP, a law firm comprised of approximately 1,700 lawyers in 29 offices in North America, Europe and Asia. She formerly served as assistant director of alumni relations and development at the University of Maine School of Law, and news producer for WMTW-TV, both positions held in Portland, Maine.
Bowman earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism and mass communication from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, N.C. She is a member of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) and the Junior League of Charlotte.

Cameron Cobb Joins the Firm’s Audit Department as Senior Audit Manager
GREENVILLE, S.C., Jan. 21, 2009 – Elliott Davis, LLC, one of the largest accounting, tax and consulting services firms in the Southeast, announces the addition of Cameron Cobb as senior audit manager in the firm’s Greenville, S.C. office.
Cobb, a certified public accountant in South Carolina and North Carolina, brings more than 13 years of public accounting experience to his new role at Elliott Davis where he is responsible for audits of SEC registrants and private companies primarily in the manufacturing sector.
Prior to joining Elliott Davis in January 2009, Cobb served as a senior audit manager with Ernst & Young’s Greenville office, where he specialized in US GAAP, IFRS and SEC filings for clients in the manufacturing industry.
Cobb earned a bachelor’s degree in financial management with a concentration in accounting from Clemson University in Clemson, S.C.
He is a member of the American Society of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and the South Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants (SCACPA). Cobb is also a Palmetto Society member of the United Way of Greenville, and has served as trustee and treasurer for Fall for Greenville.

Linda Fiel Joins Firm as Manager for Business Valuation Services
CHARLOTTE, N.C., Jan. 2, 2009 – Elliott Davis, PLLC, one of the largest accounting, tax and consulting services firms in the Southeast, announces the addition of Linda Fiel as manager for the firm’s recently-expanded business valuation services.
Located in the Charlotte office, Fiel is responsible for directing and controlling business valuation engagements from planning to completion; working with shareholders to develop and maintain quality controls; developing and training staff to assist with business valuation projects; and assisting shareholders with referral sources.
Prior to joining Elliott Davis in October 2008, Fiel served as a manager with ValuePoint Consulting Group, a specialized practice of Pershing Yoakley and Associates, where she performed over 100 business valuations. These services included valuations for joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, lease rates, equity buy-in, and hospital-based physician service agreements.
Fiel earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the College of William and Mary, and a master’s degree in business administration with a finance concentration from the University of Tennessee.
She is an accredited member (AM) with the American Society of Appraisers’ business valuation division.
