Elliott Davis, LLC Adds Shareholder to Charleston Office
CHARLESTON, S.C., Mar. 10, 2010 – The shareholders of Elliott Davis, LLC, one of the largest accounting, tax and consulting services firms in the Southeast, have admitted Greg W. Isley to the firm’s shareholder group. Isley will be based in the firm’s Charleston, S.C. office.
Isley, a certified public accountant, brings more than 25 years of public accounting experience to his new role at Elliott Davis where he will focus on providing assurance and advisory services to clients in the manufacturing and distribution, employee benefit plan, construction, healthcare and not-for-profit sectors.

Prior to joining Elliott Davis, Isley was a partner and managing director with McGladrey & Pullen, LLP in the firm’s New Bern, N.C. office.
Isley is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants. He earned his B.S. from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and completed a two-year business advisor certificate program at the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
Elliott Davis Names New Leader of Columbia Office
COLUMBIA, S.C., Mar. 4, 2010 – Elliott Davis, LLC, one of the largest accounting, tax and consulting services firms in the Southeast, is proud to announce that R. Jason Caskey has been named Office Managing Shareholder of the firm’s Columbia location.
The announcement was made by James E. Hazel, Jr. who has served as Office Managing Shareholder for Columbia since the formation of the office in 1992. Hazel currently serves as Chief Operating Officer for Elliott Davis’ 10 offices throughout South Carolina, Georgia, North Carolina and Virginia.
“I have complete confidence in passing the reins to Jason,” said Hazel. “He understands our clients and our people. Under his leadership, I know our Columbia office will continue to be a leader in the community and one of the top-performing offices in our firm.”
Caskey will oversee the day-to-day management of Elliott Davis’ office in Columbia, which is one of the firm’s largest with more than 65 employees. A certified public accountant with 18 years of experience, Caskey serves on Elliott Davis’ Executive Committee. He also chairs the firm’s Financial Services Practice, assisting public and private community banking clients with external audits, internal audits, SEC reporting, and mergers and acquisitions, as well as other business consulting.

Four Elliott Davis Professionals Serving on SCACPA Young Leadership Cabinet
GREENVILLE, S.C., Feb. 16, 2010 – Elliott Davis, LLC, one of the largest accounting, tax and consulting services firms in the Southeast, is proud to announce that four of its professionals have been chosen for the South Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants (SCACPA) Young CPAs Leadership Cabinet.
SCACPA created the Young CPAs Leadership Cabinet last year to prepare young professionals for positions of leadership in the profession, the association, the community and the world. Four professionals from Elliott Davis are now Cabinet members:
K. Leigh Schaefers, CPA has been named Chair of the Executive Committee of the Young CPAs Leadership Cabinet for 2010-11. Schaefers, a Senior Assurance Manager in Elliott Davis’ Charleston, S.C. office, is serving her second year in the program; she was an inaugural member in 2009-10.
Cory Ouellette, CPA is one of seven CPAs named to the Cabinet Class of 2010-11. Ouellette is a Tax Manager in Elliott Davis’ Greenville, S.C. office.
Howard (Howie) Houston, CPA is serving his second year in the program as a member of the inaugural Cabinet Class of 2009-10. Houston is an Assurance Manager in Elliott Davis’ Greenwood, S.C. office.
Marcus D. Tomlinson, CPA is serving his second year in the program as a member of the inaugural Cabinet Class of 2009-10. Tomlinson is an Assurance Manager in Elliott Davis’ Columbia, S.C. office.
Each Cabinet member serves a two-year term beginning May 1st. The target number of members is 20, with 10 cabinet members rotating on and off each year. The mission of the Cabinet is to increase membership and participation in SCACPA by providing young CPAs with networking and leadership development opportunities; to enhance the value of Association membership for young members; to inform the Association leadership about issues important to its young members; and to develop future leaders of the Association, the profession and the community.
Elliott Davis Receives Chairman’s Award for United Way Campaign
COLUMBIA, S.C., Feb. 11, 2010 – Elliott Davis, LLC, one of the largest accounting, tax and consulting services firms in the Southeast, is the proud recipient of the United Way of the Midlands Chairman’s Award.
Each year, several area campaigns are recognized for making the biggest difference in the success of the overall campaign. Elliott Davis received the 2009 Chairman’s Award in the Professionals Unit at the United Way’s Campaign Finale event held on January 26th.
The firm raised more than $27,000 for the 2009 campaign – an average of $640 per donor. Criteria used to select award winners included percentage of employee participation, employee giving amount per capita and percentage increase over last year’s campaign.

Elliott Davis Investment Advisors Consultant Earns Accredited Investment Fiduciary® Designation

Rankings are based on employee surveys collected and analyzed by Quantum Market Research.

Elliott Davis Adds Principal to Transaction Services Practice

A certified public accountant, Henderson brings more than 20 years of experience to his new role in the consulting practice at Elliott Davis. A certified public accountant, Rollings brings more than nine years of public accounting experience to her new role at Elliott Davis where she will focus on providing tax services to high net-worth individuals and families, as well as closely-held businesses and pass-through entities. She formerly worked for a Big Four accounting firm.
Rollings is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants (NCACPA), and the South Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants (SCACPA).
She earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a master’s degree in accounting from James Madison University.
